“ I saw this online, and couldn't wait to give it a shot. It was a cute little restaurant because there's three spots in one: a coffee place, ice cream shop and sandwich shop! The dirty chai was amazing, and the Brazilian latte was even better because it had a spicy chocolate taste. It was all really yummy, and I thought that it was a super cute store! Definitely come by here! ”

“ This coffee menu is amazing and crafted by the woman who traveled to master it Apparently no hype needed as my daughter found Meillie on IG and urged me to try everything - idk where else in metro Detroit you can order most of these but I went with the Korean Dalgona because I miss it so Very high quality and very well priced- This is our new coffee spot (Also ice cream and sandwich biz inside the space so you can make a meal with friends in addition to your coffees) ”

“ Meillie has quickly become my boyfriend's and my favorite place to get coffee in the Detroit metro area! It's easy to get to, there are 2-3 free parking spots in front, and there's even a window for ordering from outside. Joyce is the most friendly and gracious owner, and her employees are just as delightful! We've loved every drink we've tried--the Hong Kong "Love Bird," Brazilian Style Latte, Spanish Café con Miel, Portuguese Mazagran were all so unique and delicious! The drinks are not overly sweet and you can taste how thoughtfully they were created. We've had very good coffee all over, and these drinks make us think of the amazing coffee we had in Seattle! ”

“ Friendly staff, appealing menu and they have non dairy options (oatmilk and almond) for the coffee. I grabbed an iced coffee and a pastry for later. The pastry did not make it to later, in fact didn't even make it out the parking lot . Price point is typical $13 for a both items. The coffee has new feeling like I can hit all my errands without nodding off WIN!!! I'll be back ”

“ The first callout I have to make is I absolutely LOVE the diversity of choices in this menu. They have so much more unique options than your standard coffee shop and all of them are so different. Their menu represents so many countries and regions, including Moroccan, Hong Kong, Brazilian, Spanish, Viennese, Vietnamese, Korean, Thai, Japanese, Indian, Sudanese, etc. This is a place that you can just keep coming back to and try completely different flavors and styles of coffee and tea with every visit and I really appreciate that. They also have small snack options, with my favorite being the Nutella taiayaki. This was a pleasant surprise for me since I'm generally not the biggest fan of classic red bean taiyaki. I ended up ordering the Brazilian style latte and my girlfriend got the London fog. We both loved our drinks and would definitely return to try others. As for the space, it's certainly not what I expected but I really liked the concept. Meillie Coffee is just one of a few vendors who all share a really large space (with TONS of seating). They also have sandwiches and ice cream available at the other vendors, so you can probably come here in the morning and end up spending enough time working until you want lunch from the other vendor as well. ”

“ Delicious coffee! Very cool space in downtown Ferndale, shared with an ice cream shop and deli. Spacious with lots of seating. Great place to hang out to talk or work on your laptop. Cool decor and comic book vibes. I love the art, drawings, and decor around the counter. Fast and friendly service. I love the menu and I want to try everything! Today I had the Brazilian style latte, with chocolate, Chantilly cream and cinnamon. Delicious! There is a parking lot in the back with meters. Free on Sundays. ”

“ This cute little coffee shop shares a space with an icecream shop and a sandwhich spot. There are so many different kinds of coffees drinks you can choose. I ordered my husband a thai iced tea. They have cold drinks and hot drinks. They do offer teas as well. Something cool I saw was this little fish shaped pastry called Taiyaki. It is made to order. I decided to purchase a nutella filled one and it only takes a few minutes. I sat down at a table while I waited. The service was amazing. She brought over the drink to me and the pastry once it was finished. The pastry was delicious. My husband loved the drink as well. ”

“ There is a diverse selection of coffee at Meillie. I ordered the Brazilian and found it to be a little bit too sweet for me. It looks very appealing with the whipped cream and drizzle but I'd probably try something different next time. The service was fairly quick and they have a small section to sit down and enjoy it but probably wouldn't be the best place to work. They share a space with treat dreams ice cream- you can parallel park in front. I also got the taiyaki and tried all of the flavors- Nutella, red bean and cheese. They are basically little waffle fishes with a filling. The Nutella was the best followed by red bean and then the cheese. It was a fun little snack. ”
